Herschel Dennis is a former American football player and coach. Dennis played as a running back in college football at the University of Southern California (USC) from 2003 to 2006. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the seventh round of the 2007 NFL Draft but never played a regular-season game in the NFL. After retiring from professional football, Dennis became a college football coach, serving as the running backs coach at San Jose State University and Florida Atlantic University. In 2013, he co-founded a company called HSD Athletics, which specializes in sports nutrition and training programs for athletes.
